Mike Dunn is the owner of Metal Dunn Right, a San Diego fabrication and design studio specializing in fine and functional art in metal. Mike is a San Diego native whose work reflects the diversity and resilience of our community by employing a range of traditional and cutting edge techniques to bring spaces and people together. Work is currently showing at quality venues including Petco Park, Huntress, and Captain's Quarters.

Metal Dunn Right would not be possible without the support, inspiration, and artistic passion of Mike’s mother Barbara. While raising Mike and working full-time as an administrator at the San Diego County Parks Department, she also ran a business creating custom wedding altars. Upon retiring, she continued her development as an artist, found success selling her pieces in galleries, and attended classes to expand her skillset. She encouraged Mike to attend an introductory welding class together, and the rest is history. We will always love and appreciate you Barbara!
